Since the late 90s, EFNet #motorcycles has been a conversation channel for people who ride, wrench, race, and otherwise care about motorcycles. You don’t need to own a bike to join us, but it can be a side effect. We’re a small crowd, most of us here for most of the channel’s life, and we talk track days and tire temps, touring and moto-camping, vintage, dirt, Harleys, modern hypersports, wrenching, gear, and bike reviews. At least as much of it is off-topic life stuff as bikes. It’s the coffee stop on a ride, over text.

We’re mostly US but genuinely global, and over the years enough of us have become actual friends that a couple of rides happen: an annual get-together at Deals Gap since the turn of the century, and GapWest, a semiannual NorCal meetup we started a few years back.
